Thanks for letting us know. We are also looking at ways of streaming the process of notifying us of closed hotspots.

The app allows users to rate a hotspot. Why not allow provisional results to be published with a star system or similar to indicate that a hotspot may be derelict. That way any closed or derelict hotspots can be flagged as such by the community. This can then be verified later by yourselves or by other members of the community.
